Coating Company Attracts New Investors
Company enters
acquisition with Manning Way Capital Partners with intent to grow customer base
and hire additional employees
Bellingham,
MA (July 16, 2009) – Consolidated
Coating Company, a full-service custom finisher of paint and
powder coating, announced that the company has been acquired by Manning Way
Capital Partners, a group of investors that will maintain, manage and grow the
company. Jeffrey A. Rudman serves
as President, while John Mattson, founder of Consolidated Coating remains with
the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Technical Advisor.
“After 30 years of growing this business, I wanted
to leave CCC in good hands. Given Jeff’s management expertise and experience, I
am confident we will continue to build our market share,” said Mattson. “I look forward to working with Jeff
and am confident that he will place the same importance on customer care that I
have been maintaining for all of these years.”
Consolidated Coating Company (CCC), founded by
Mattson in 1979, utilizes an innovative and specialized coating technology and
has a reputation as a high-quality, indispensible extension of their customers’

serves a diverse number of industries, including aerospace, bio-tech and

produced consistent growth and improved margins for companies under his
management and has a track record for closing and building upon large strategic
relationships.
CCC specializes in the coating of a wide variety of
plastic resins, metal surfaces, and specialty substrates. Based in Bellingham,
MA, the company has over 43,500 square feet of finishing space, five conveyor
lines and 13 spraybooths. CCC is
able to produce multiple projects simultaneously, in both large and small volumes.
